Have you ever wondered why it was so hard to set an MP3 as a ringtone with this phone? Once the mp3 has been transfer to your phone, via your usb cord or the memory card, it will be saved in sounds. Go to the sounds & media option in your main menu, then select sounds, highlight the one you want, then select the left soft key which will bring up a menu. you choose to send that file as a text to yourself. Once you have received the text you should be able to open the attached file as a ringtone. good luck
