How to perform a factory reset on your palm:
***All data, settings and other preferences you've selected will be removed.***
-Remove the battery. Then put the battery back in.
-When the Palm logo appears, press and hold Power/End until the black status bar at the bottom of the screen fills and disappears, and then release Power/End.
-If you performed this reset correctly, you should see a white screen with black text saying "reformatting in progress" (any other activity - such as the Palm OS logo and then the Applications launcher appearing - means the reset was performed incorrectly; try again). Your smartphone will appear to reset again after the "reformatting in progress" screen disappears.
-When the Erase all data? prompt appears, press Up to confirm the Factory reset.
-When the language selection screen appears, select the same language you selected for your desktop software. The Factory reset is now complete.
